CASTORS

SUPER CASTORS

Users include: Aircraft Services, Freight & Baggage Handlers, Marine Contractors, Engineering Contractors. Load capacities up to 10,000kg

EXTRA-HEAVY DUTY INDUSTRIAL CASTORS

Users include: Major Industry, Manufactures, Workshops and Factories. Load capacities up to 2000 kg.

HEAVY DUTY INDUSTRIAL CASTORS

Users include: Major Industry, Manufactures, Workshops and Factories. Load capacities up to 2000 kg.

INDUSTRIAL PREMIUM CASTORS

Users include: Major Industry, Manufacturers, Workshops, Factories, Warehouses. Premium This range utilises the same time-proven frames as the heavy industrial range, with precision machined integral swivel race, and is coupled with a more economical selection of roller bearing wheels providing capacities up to 700kg.

INDUSTRIAL SERIES 8 CASTORS

Users include: Workshops, Factories, Warehouses, Hospitality.
The Series 8 castor range completes our selection of industrial castors. Cold forming and fabrication of 6mm thick material provides a product of quality and reliability at a budget price.

CUSHION TYRED CASTORS

Users include: Large Factories with power trains, Baggage Handlers, Caterers.
Pneumatic and cushioned solid rubber tyred castors are required where surface conditions or equipment carried requires some degree of impact absorption.

SCAFFOLDING CASTORS

Lemcol scaffold castors are manufactured to comply with international and Australian standards. Plug or socket fittings are sized to fit most commonly used aluminium and galvanised steel scaffold tubing.

MEDIUM INDUSTRIAL CASTORS

Users include:Workshops, Garages, Bakeries and Laundries.
The Lemcol Medium Industrial range has an exclusive large diameter swivel bearing race, spreading the load equally around the entire top plate and preventing lateral loading of the kingpin. This design feature coupled with the heavy gauge steel frame, results in castors of superior strength and durability.

WASTE BIN CASTORS

Users include: Waste Bin O.E.M's.
Lemcol waste bin castors have set the standard in this industry for many years. Fully welded heavy steel frames provide strength and durability even under adverse working conditions. They feature solid cast iron plain bearing wheels and formed rigid castor legs to withstand the high impact that is common in this industry.

COMMERCIAL CASTORS

A very adaptable range of castors available in either swivel, fixed or bolt hole configurations.

The Commercial range provides a castor of ruggedness and reliability in capacities from light to medium industrial applications.

INSTITUTIONAL CASTORS

Users include: Hospitals, Laboratories, Caterers, Offices, Food Processors.
Manufactured to world standards, the strong metal construction ensures longer life and less operational down-time. The standard finish is bright zinc plating with extremely smooth running wheels and optional easy-to-operate brakes.

WHEELS

Polyurethane Wheels

The most versatile of materials, polyurethane wheels are suitable for most applications from hospital trolleys to gantry cranes
They have high tear strength, excellent abrasion resistance and a life span of several times longer than the equivalent in rubber under similar load and conditions.

Rubber Wheels

Usually selected for its shock absorbency capabilities where floor surfaces may be rough or uneven. Rubber tyred wheels combine the features of good load capacities, low noise level and the ability to withstand rough conditions.
Their excellent resilient properties mean substantially reduce vibrations transmitted through the wheels. They are available in a number of varieties, each with their own unique benefits:

Solid Rubber Wheels

Users include: Workshops, Garages, Factories, Warehouses, Manufacturers.
The Lemcol/Duncan wheel range is moulded from high grade resilient rubber, rayon bonded onto a cast iron centre.

Nylon Wheels

Nylon wheels are a low cost alternative while providing high load capacities.
They are lightweight, non-marking and resistant to impact, abrasion, corrosion and the effect of many chemicals.

Cast Iron Wheels

An economical wheel type offering extremely low rolling resistance, high capacities and the ability to withstand the greatest temperature extremes.
Cast iron wheels are often chosen for exterior applications where the surfaces are relatively even but where items like broken glass may be encountered.

Cushioned Tyred Wheels

While having all the special qualities of rubber, cushion tyred wheels provide further benefit of improved shock absorbency.
They are puncture proof and more durable than pneumatic tyres, while providing greater capacities for similar diameters.

CONVEYORS

The Lemcol range of gravity conveyors will enable goods of various shapes, sizes and weights to be moved quickly, efficiently and safely from one operational stage to the next.

CONVEYORS

Gravity, Frames & Rigid Supports
Your choice of roller or wheel conveyor will depend on the nature of the articles to be moved. Generally goods that are heavy or less uniform in shape, or both, will require roller conveyors. Lighter and more uniform articles may well suite the use of wheel conveyors which have the capacity to move goods quicker.

CONVEYORS

Gravity Rollers - oval axle
The standard range of Lemcol rollers are manufactured with an 'oval' shaped formed axle. This effectively locks the axle in the frame and holds the inner bearing firmly thus ensuring maximum efficiency from the ball race. An internal spring at one end enables the axle to be laterally moved for ease of assembly, alterations to roller pitch or removal for maintenance.

CONVEYORS

Wheel Conveyors
These very free rolling conveyors are ideal for moving all types of light packages with flat or semi-flat surfaces (cases, packages, crates etc.). Their free rolling ability is particularly useful where long distances of travel are necessary with a minimum gravity decline.

CONVEYORS

Wheel Track and Ball Transfer Units
These versatile wheel tracks can be used in a wide variety of warehousing and materials handling situations. Available in either standard 75mm or 150mm pitch, they are ideal for use in warehousing shelving for the deep storage of parcels. As the front parcel is removed, the whole line moves up to take its place.
